Oaked vs. Unoaked Wine Tasting
Oaked vs. Unoaked Wine Tasting - 12/4
Are you one of those people who think they only like oaky ones? Or “buttery” Chardonnay? Or maybe you don’t even realize that some wines are rested in oak and others aren’t! This tasting is intended to shed some light onto what oak does to wine, and hopefully provide you with some understanding as to whether you prefer oaked wines or not. We’ll pour six wines as we match up an oaked wine with an unoaked wine from the same producer so you can experience the difference. While Madison discusses the wine you can order from our a la carte dinner menu. Come enjoy Wednesday Wine Tastings with us to get the holiday season going! Sign up now.
This is always a fun and educational tasting! We'll taste:
Iron Horse Chardonnay (unoaked)
Iron Horse Chardonnay (oaked)
Moillard’s Chateau d’eau Pinot Noir (unoaked)
Moillard Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir (oaked)
Torbreck Cuvée Juvenile Blend (unoaked)
Torbreck Shiraz The Struie (oaked)
Only $25 for the wine, and you can order food a la carte from our dinner menu
*a 20% gratuity will be added to your bill
